BES attends BIM Masterclass at The Etihad Stadium
21/08/2019
In our continued strive for improvement of our BIM processes we recently attended a BIM Accreditation Masterclass seminar hosted by Excitech in collaboration with Lloyd’s Register at The Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
The course provided a thorough explanation of the BIM accreditation processes, discussed the complexities of the recent changes from PAS 1192 standards to the newly released ISO 19650, and explored the role that document management has to play in the process.
Following a very productive and informative morning of talks and debates, the delegates were then given the opportunity to forget about work for a minute and enjoy a mini tour around the stadium, including the players changing room and the iconic walk out of the tunnel to the pitch.
Over the last months our committed team led by BES BIM Manager have been working really hard to significantly improve our BIM processes. We’ve been compiling new standards and protocols which aim to advance the efficiency of our HR, QA and project procedures. Giving more consideration to cyber security, we also gained the certification for the Governments’ Cyber Essentials Scheme.
As a company, we are committed to exceeding the ever-increasing expectations of our clients. We continue to invest in ongoing development of smarter, safer and more efficient ways of working, and focusing our efforts on BIM processes is just another step in our journey.
