Works are progressing well on the construction of the new Sterile Production Plant at AstraZeneca in Macclesfield.

We are very excited to report the achievement of a significant milestone, as the facility’s four Chillers, utilizing the environmentally friendly, high efficiency ammonia refrigerant, were successfully delivered and positioned.

Each Chiller, weighing 17 tonnes, was lifted into position utilizing a 450 tonne crane. 

As Principal Contractor on this project, we are thrilled to meet this milestone with all works carried out safely and on time. A great collaborative effort by all involved.
