We are delighted to announce that Martina Antalova, BES Design Lead is a finalist for the BESA Outstanding Woman in Building Services Award 2019. 

The award, which will be presented by the Women’s Engineering Society (WES), will recognise a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to engineering in the built environment and is a fitting role model for women in the building engineering workforce.

Martina has been working at BES for the last 6 years, having a fantastic impact on our business, not only through technical excellence but also in proving that women can excel in our industry.  In her current role, she leads a multidisciplinary team to generate coordinated design solutions for our clients. In addition to her technical knowledge, Martina is a great role model who actively supports STEM events and has recently become a Primary Engineer volunteer, to help encourage young girls to study engineering subjects.

Congratulations from everyone at BES! Getting to the final is a fantastic achievement in itself but we all will be keeping our fingers crossed. The awards ceremony will take place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London on Thursday 21st November.
