BES are accustomed to working in these areas and bring a level of expertise that surpasses any others. Stakeholder liaison is key to ensure that the activities can be coordinated seamlessly with the ongoing operations. However, the prime objective is to segregate the areas to ensure that Operator safety, environmental conditions and cleanliness are maintained within the operational areas.
Over the last three years, our project has been used as a benchmark for AstraZeneca's Global engineering projects around the globe based on our impressive culture and SHE statistics along with all other delivery aspects. AstraZeneca are therefore keen to trial new initiatives on our project to test their effectiveness and practicalities of implementation.
Our new client is a world leading biopharmaceutical group committed to developing and producing medications used in oncology, endocrinology and neuromuscular disorders. Their UK's biologics centre of excellence, dedicated to the manufacturing and global supply of one of their key products, had a requirement to develop a solution for a bespoke cold room around three automated vertical storage units located in the existing packing and storage facility.
We had a great evening at the Rochdale Business Awards on Friday night! The annual event is organised and sponsored by the local business community and this year it took place on 9 November 2018 at the beautiful Rochdale Town Hall. We were delighted to be shortlisted in the category of 'Employee of the year', and although we were not fortunate enough to win, it was fantastic to see and support so many competitive and thriving businesses from Rochdale Borough.

A key milestone has been reached in the design and construction of the new warehouse and packing hall for AstraZeneca in Macclesfield. Following the successful completion of works at high bay and low bay warehouse, we have now commenced the packing pall phase of the project. The packing hall at over 7,500m2 will make provision for 14no grade D primary packing rooms with common secondary accommodation.

We are pleased to announce the opening of BES Southern Office in Milton Keynes. We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the second phase refurbishment of an existing Tablet Manufacturing Facility for one of the UK's leading blue chip pharmaceutical companies. BES carried out this £3.5 million project on a full turnkey basis, providing full design, construction, commissioning and validation services with the aim of improving the manufacturing process, and layout of an existing facility.
