We are delighted to join the Women's Engineering Society and their campaign #ShapeTheWorld, in support of Women in Engineering Day #INWED20, which takes place on the 23rd of June.

As a show of support we would like to celebrate the women working for BES and the important roles they play within our company. Undoubtedly, they are all helping to ‘shape BES’, and are having a positive impact on all aspects of our business including management, technical design, business development, commercial, digital, safety and quality.

Suzy Smith
Driven and determined Suzy takes a very strategic approach to account development, using strong interpersonal skills to build long term business relationships. Analytical, Suzy works hard to identify key differentiators and ‘win –win’ scenarios which focus on adding value. Quite simply the best Business Development Manager we have employed. 

Buyi Femi-Balogun 
A highly qualified Architectural Assistant with a B.Sc. in Architecture and a first class Masters in the Digital Built Environment, Buyi is an important part of our growing design team. Highly organised and very much a team player, Buyi is part of a young generation that embraces technology and is helping to transform our industry.

Vanessa Weaver 
Vanessa joined the business in 2002, as part of the ‘start up’ team and has grown to become an important part of the senior management team. Highly organised, Vanessa leads her team to provide great business support whilst using the same skills to generate monthly management accounts.

Martina Antalova
A modern thinker, Martina combines technical excellence with a passion for the environment and embodies all that is good in engineering. Last year’s national award of ‘Outstanding Woman in Building Services’ says it all really. 

Michaela Radford 
Highly efficient, Michaela has all of the skills and attributes required to fulfill her role of SHEQ Coordinator. Michaela’s thirst for knowledge and drive for continuous improvement ensures we stay ahead of the curve on Safety, Quality an and Environment, which are cornerstones of our business.
