Works are progressing well on the construction of the new 7,500m2 packing hall at our Macclesfield site. 

Following the demolition of existing warehouse racking, and removal of the existing slab, we have installed new foundations and slab to enable the construction of the mezzanine steel framed plant deck.

The mezzanine floor slab has been poured in readiness for the delivery of Air Handling and Water Purification plant. Demonstrating flexibility and collaborative approach taken throughout the project, we completed this crucial phase in only 8 weeks. 

We are making excellent progress on this flagship £50 million project. Being 39 months into the construction programme, we have successfully completed works on the high bay and numerous refurbishments to GMP standards within the low bay warehouse, and are now focusing our efforts on the packing hall.

The final construction phase will see the internal fit out of the packing facility which is due to complete in Quarter 3, 2019.
