BES was appointed Principal Designer and Principal Contractor to carry our turnkey detail design and construction for a new production facility with 900 m2 of ISO 7 Cleanrooms in an existing wound management facility.
We were tasked with completing all design and construction works including commissioning and validation within an operational facility. Critical to the success of the project was the integration and “building-in†of large items of client equipment including a 32 ton sputter machine.
To accommodate all the client’s equipment, we carried out sub-structure modifications to provide load bearing beams with new pile foundations. All works were successfully completed within the operational facility over a 7 month period. Additional new support areas were constructed comprising changing room, storage areas, production workshop and circulation spaces complete with remote plantrooms within the building. A full range of HVAC services were installed. Sprinklers designed and installed to FM Global standards were also provided.
